DADDY'S 10-13 DINER ** 10:30 is a good time** Breakfast all day lunch starts at 10:30
1003 East Main St.
Richmond, MO
816-776-1013 DONNA

Here's a map to all the Romeo rides this week. Use it to plan your route and see how long the trip will take you.

Checkout the "BARN BUSTER", Donna says that will take care of the biggest appetite. Oh and she says "don't overlook my pancakes everyone loves them." Tuesday's lunch special is a favorite, Hamburger Steak w/grilled onions and mushrooms :D YUM YUM

I know you guys like to ride. This week I did something I had never done. I went to 4 Romeo Lunches. :o  Outside of eating too much I really enjoyed it. I started on Monday, joining the Central Missouri guys in Bixby, MO. On Tuesday the KC group in Atchison, KS, on Wednesday, Eastern Kansas in Vassar, KS and on Friday Southeast Kansas in Colony. Check out some of the other "lunches". If you have a doctors appointment or its raining on your regular day, just pick another day in another place. All the riding and places to eat will give you a totally different experience. You don't have to make 4, but you will enjoy goine to some of the other lunches. Fall will be here before you know. It is a great time of the year to ride.

We had a nice crowd today, but for the sake of Daddy's I wish it had been a few more.Donna enlisted half the population of Richmond to take care of the ROMEOs and they did a great job. I don't believe we have ever had faster service. I mused as several guys tried to refuse their food, because it came so fast :P You don't think it doesn't take a lot of people and organization to do it right. :!: Count them she had NINE people there to take care of us.And the food was good and there was lots of it. This was the Thursday Lunch special, the hamburger steak with extra gravy :o I didn't get a picture of the THREE EGG "Barn Buster", but I heard it was more than most could eat. Berg, a Romeo transplant from Wichita, had such a good time and enjoyed the food so much, he had the BARN BURNER for breakfast and stayed around long enough to have the HAMBURGER STEAK, with grilled onions, mushrooms and brown gravy for LUNCH :o  Now that may be a first :!: Donna even contacted the local newspaper about her guests today and and a reporter/photographer came to visit with the group. The Romeos are sure to make the "headlines" of the Richmond News.

You have heard me say that we overwhelm some restaurants and I am sure they are glad to see us come and they are glad to see us go. Donna has only had this restaurant for 3 years and there was no doubt in my mind she was glad to see us and unhappy to see us go. We wish her good luck and hope she is around for a long time.

If you like BBQ plan on going to Williamsburg, KS tomorrow with the Eastern Kansas Romeos. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4190 Guy and Mae's is one of the top rated BBQ joints in the region. I am buying ribs to take home for a labor day picnic

There is a new ride coordinator for the North Central Group. He has scheduled a ride tomorrow at 1:00 in Dover. Mick is going the have ribs in Williamsburg and ride up to Dover for pie. I am sure you are welcome to ride along.

It is rewarding when the ROMEOs truly make a restaurant happy. We did that today. Thanks for coming.

Roger, I agree on what a great new venue and I think we should try to overwhelm them when the weather is more stable. We had a 'rookie Romeo' this week, Chuck's wife Sara joined us for the first time, her sister Jane, Bob B's wife was with us at Fubblers Cove.
