You can get breakfast or lunch. Breakfast orders have to be in by 11:00. The lunch special is an open face tenderloin sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy for $6.49!! The place should be big enough to handle us (40-50+) and we may fit in a backroom. These people sound professional and were not scare of our numbers. Keep you fingers crossed. We keep getting earlier and earlier, because guys are trying to get in and get out before the crowd. Mike and the Oatmeal gang are sometimes eating by themselves. If you like lunch you might come a little later. I still think 10:30 is a good time

This "Family Restaurant" was suggested by Bob K. It has good ratings and should be nice.

Check out the riding. The weather looks good and there are many good roads and sight to see going to and from Kearney.

Several of us just returned from the Ride Around Missouri. This was one of the best organized and best executed rides I have ever been on. We were gone 6 days and rode 1750 miles to all the corners of Missouri. Of course, we stopped by the arch, had dinner at Lamberts in Sikeston and even stayed over an extra day in Branson to see shows and shop. Three wives from Kansas City drove down to share the fun. We are now home. Below are links to the pictures that Missy took

Below is the link to the web page John set up prior to the ride. It also contains maps that are "almost" ;) like where we rode.

I am sorry if you couldn't be with us, but I hope you enjoy the pictures

As promised a beautiful day. Hope you had a good ride. We had one of the biggest turnouts of the year due to the beautiful day, and it is about time. It has been a long winter for all of us, except those lucky ones who spent time in Texas. I think most of them are back and several were with us today. This might have been Larry's first KC ride. He lives in Leavenworth or Atchison and usual rides with the Eastern Kansas Romeos. Welcome Larry, even if it isn't your first KC ride.

You did a good job of spreading it out today. Mike said he and Don really enjoyed seeing so many new faces. They met folks that have been riding with us for a year, but were never around when the Oatmeal Gang arrived. In case you don't know the story of the Oatmeal Gang, these guys go to Wolfes in KC,KS for breakfast and then ride to wherever we are for lunch!!! The open face tenderloin sandwich really looked good and I saw a lot of them being served. The food was good and there was a lot of it.The service was good, although they lost one order. The Romeo whose order was lost was a typical "ROMEO GENTLEMAN" and made a joke of it. Thank You.

I didn't know we had "Models" in the group.

It is 39 days until our Iron Butt ride and we could have a large number. I know of two riders that have done the 1000 miles with me before that are doing it again and plan going on for 1500 miles. If you or anyone else you know is interested email me for details. twowheels2eat@yahoo.com We are riding on June 14, 2014. You can leave from any place or any time but I will be leaving from the Quick Trip at I-435 and Roe at 5:45 am. We will be riding to Limon, CO and back. We usually get back around 10:00 pm.

I want to tell you about a really nice trip I took this weekend. A friend of my set up a tour of the Budweiser Clydesdale Breeding Operation in Warms Springs, MO. I thought it was a really neat trip and if you enjoy the Budweiser Clydesdale Hitches you will enjoy this tour. It costs $10 and you have to make reservations on line. Here is a link to the pictures I took.

Roger, I did suggest JJ's, but I don't think these pictures are better. Haven't been to a RTE for a while, so there was a lot of gum flapping to catch up on, instead of taking photos.
