Someone suggested this place and I can't find his name. We will see if he "fesses up"
I had a great visit with Dixie and she is very pleased we are coming. She serves breakfast ALL DAY. She says they are known for their lunch buffet which starts at 11 that has just about everything you could want eat including dessert for $6.99!! She said you can still order off the menu, but the buffet is such a good deal very few do that. They have a special room just for us
Nice to be going to a new place. Hope you enjoy it. Remember the buffet doesn't open till 11.

What a pleasant surprise. Someone gave me this restaurant and I can't remember who it was, but we owe him a big thank you! This was indeed a Railroad Place...owned and ran by a retired Missouri Pacific Engineer and his wife, right across the street from the ROUND HOUSE.
The train was running today and it was bringing the circus to town.
Slina found out that it was my birthday and baked me a birthday cake. I got in a whole lot of trouble because I didn't share Oh those little blue roses were the best.
It has been "two hips" since we have seen Bob B. He might have been the person who got me involved in ROMEOS. In my notes I have ALL his favorite restaurants,...one in Garden City, I think... Great to see you Bob and looking soo good.
Paul H drove his new truck today, by himself. We are so proud of you Paul. Keep up the good work.
I always wanted a John Deere tractor....I am PROUD TO BE A ROMEO, but some times the Romoes aren't proud of me
All the food was great, but I thought the buffet was the best. Those are train tracks overhead.
This guy is RR through and through....He and his son hand laid this railroad track that leads to the buffet. A true labor of love!!
After lunch the guys did what they do best. Two hours after lunch I swung by after visiting the John Brown Museum and guys were still sitting on the patio. Greg (Santa) wasn't, he came to the museum.
Oh yes, this is JOHN BROWN"S TOWN. The museum was very nice. The Adair Cabin in inside the stone structure at the top of this announcement.
I had a great birthday and it was fun to share it with all of you. Thank you for making it a very special day for me.
I took a few more pictures--- here is a link to all the pictures Melissa took...... http://tinyurl.com/lchy5rd
SUMMER RENDEZVOUS-----All the ROMEOS are meeting at PETER PAN PARK in EMPORIA JUNE 19. I am planning on leaving from the McDonalds in Gardner at 8:45 am. No food is provided at the picnic. The last time we did this was arranged for two places to pickup sandwiches in Emporia. I will contact those places and see if they are still in business and will do it again.

Last year I helped 6 guys get their IRONBUTT license bracket. I have one guy that has asked me to do it again. If I can get a couple more guys I will do it again. If you are interested send me your name at twowheels2eat@yahoo.com
Here are my tips from last year. We will be doing the same ride on June 22. http://www.romeoriders.com/forums/viewt ... butt#p4444
