This will be our last official ride of 2017. We'll keep riding all winter, but stay close to home for the next couple of months (unless we get a really good warm spell.)
Some of the guys have been asking to go back to Cy's, in Sedgwick. It's mostly thought of as a steak place, but they have a variety of other choices on the menu. The food is really good, the portions are plentiful, and the staff likes to see us.
Right now, the forecast is calling for fairly chilly weather next Wednesday; possibly OK for riding if you want to bundle up, but also close enough to drive if you don't find the weather to your liking. If you're driving, maybe the wife or girlfriend (probably shouldn't bring both) would like to come?
Sedgwick is only twenty-five miles from Wichita; you can take 125th west from I-135, or just head north on Ridge Road.
Cy's doesn't open until 11:00 AM, so if you arrive too early you may wind up cooling your heels (and every other body part) on the sidewalk.

Re: South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, December 27, 11:00 AM
It was the last "drive" of the year; too cold for anyone to ride (fourteen degrees when I left home.)
We had sixteen people show up for lunch at Cy's, in Sedgwick today. Cold outside but warm inside with some pretty good food. Charlie may have some photos of the people dining, but there were no motorcycle outside to photograph today. Winter is upon us, apparently.
I'll have the first ride (or drive - it looks like more cold weather ahead) of the year posted in a couple of days.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.
If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll find the time to do it twice.
