South Central Breakfast Ride: Wednesday, July 19, 9:00 AM

Post by roginoz »

We're going to celebrate Gibbo's birthday a few days late this year. (It can't always arrive on Wednesday, after all.) I expect that we'll draw a larger crowd than usual, so we'll need a place that can accommodate a good sized group. The Carriage Crossing, in Yoder, has always been up to the task, and the food is pretty good. (I recommend the German sausage and cheese omlette...) If you have any room left after breakfast, there's an excellent selection of pie and some monster cinnamon rolls for dessert.

It's a short trip to Yoder, about forty miles from Wichita. Given the fact that next Wednesday is likely to be another scorcher, keeping in close is probably a good idea.

TIME:

9:00 AM, Wednesday, July 19

PLACE:

Carriage Crossing Restaurant
K-96 & Yoder Road
Yoder, KS

Together with the North Central group, we had a huge turnout for Gibbo's birthday breakfast today. Seventy-two people signed the book, but it looks like we actually had more in attendance. There were at least sixty-nine motorcycles at the Carriage Crossing, having traveled a total of 3605 miles (one way) to Yoder. The food was excellent, as was the service.

Charlie will have photos posted soon, and I'll get next week's ride announcement up in a couple of days.

Fun morning to ride! Happy Birthday to Gibbo.
I made his photo and he said "I'm 90, lets do this again in 10 years!"

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.
