Did you let the Breadbasket know that there would be a larger crowd? I told them to expect thirty to thirty-five of our group. The back room may not hold a lot more than that. (We could overflow into the front, though.)

Colorado ride got short-circuited: Steve had some problems with his bike on the way out. Instead, we drove to Austin on Friday to pick up his new Ducati. See you all for breakfast tomorrow.

Went to the Bread Basket in Newton, Ks. But I was the only one there of the Romeos. Turns out they met there for breakfast. I showed up for lunch. ;) Its sure would have been nice to meet Romeo Riders from down south !!! Oh well maybe some other time.

I can still remember walking out of this station as a kid in the late '50's at 2 am and walking to the covered loading stations. Walking down the concrete you would look for your correct car where a porter would help you board. The Super Chief was almost magical. In the daylight you would view the beauty of the Southwest High above in the rails in a vista dome car.
