Lunch 11 AM March 29 D Dubs Bar & Grilll, Eudora, KS

It's been a while since I've posted a lunch due to being out of town a lot taking care of family business. Thanks a bunch to Swanee and Duane for taking care of ROMEO business in my absence. I waited until today to try and get a clearer picture of the weather for next week and it looks like a pretty good chance of rain and cooler weather so we'll keep it pretty centrally located and close-in so if you don't want to don your rain gear you can cage it and not have to drive too far!

We tried this place for the first time last October and everyone seemed to like it so we'll give it another try. They remembered us and still wanted to have us back so I guess that's a good sign! They don't open until 11 for lunch so if you get there early plan on hanging around outside on the deck until they take pity on you and let you inside. So lets have lunch at:

This was the menu the last time we were there so I'd expect something similar this time. She didn't know what the special would be next week but my guess is it will be!

I hope to join you for this lunch but my plans for next week will depend on how the Jayhawks fare against the Ducks this evening. If it's a Jayhawk victory, then I'll be having lunch next Wednesday somewhere between here and Glendale, AZ and Swanee will take care of the ride report and hopefully scheduling the next week's ride! If they lose, well...I guess it'll be lunch in Eudora for me too!! I sincerely hope I don't see y'all next week!

It turned out to be a pretty good day to schedule a ride close-in, because rain turned everyone into either a RODEO or ROMSH (Retired Old Motorcyclist Staying Home). There were 9 brave souls that braved the rain on 4 wheels to eat lunch today and there wasn't a motorcycle in sight. Even Don wandered in nice and dry! The food was good and the company was great and everyone just stayed around the table and visited until it was time to go home. I guess we probably need the rain but we also need some good riding days as well! Maybe next week...
