All forecasts I looked at so far say at least some chance of rain on 3/22 --one even mentioned "strong" thunderstorms. Though it should at least be a bit warmer this time let's go to a close-by little place that's BIG on good eatin'...and that would be the Almost Home Cafe in Grantville. IF the weather turns out decent there's still plenty of nice riding to be had since you're just a hop, skip and a jump from Lake Perry.

Almost Home will usually have a pretty good crowd by noon so please get there by 11am for lunch else you might not get seated right away OR come in by 10:30 and treat yourself to some really good breakfast such as their famously huge pancakes (if mama taught you "always clean your plate" then you'd best bring a BIG appetite!)

We almost filled Almost Home before the 1100 hour. Even though it was a chilly morn we must have had over 20 bikes that ventured out (guess Hoser and some others were gone before I got out so that's just a SWAG not the "official Hoser count") and there must have been well over 30 of us in all including a bunch who came on 4 wheels.

Some of us did have to wait a little while to get served but all-in-all the nice folks at Almost Home did a great job considering one of their cooks wasn't able to make it in. The food there is still good and still served in generous amounts. Thanks to everybody who showed up and made it a great day for ROMEO's!
