Re: Tech Help Needed

I'm running a Zumo 550. They're a little pricey, but I really like it. Waterproof, made for a motorcycle (touchscreen and buttons are glove-friendly,) and it comes with everything you need (mount, power cord, extra mount and power cord for your car.) Mine is mounted on a dash shelf on my ST1300; it ...

Headlight Modulators

At the South Central breakfast on July 29, a couple of us were discussing headlight modulators. Here's the factory link for the one I have on my ST1300:

Lost is a predicament; wandering is a diversion. With two maps, one GPS, and three full tanks of gas, I feel our detour was mostly recreational. There is some pretty country that people on course miss seeing.

It was good to meet and ride with all of you. Dan took us on the scenic route back, and I managed to wander through Ottawa and Lawrence before heading back to Wichita. Somehow, "lunch" turned into 557 miles. (I did make it home in time for dinner...)

Re: RTE: Salina, KS July 18, 2009 - Cozy Inn

Sorry if there was any confusion; this is our July "non-event" for the KS MSTA folks and the ST Owners. I thought that others might want to join us. The post was placed in the "General Discussion" subforum for that reason. I assume that there is a convener for each of the Wednesd...

RTE: Salina, KS July 18, 2009 - Cozy Inn

Mods: I hope this is the right place to post this. If not, please move or delete it. I've organized (OK, loosely defined...) a Ride To Eat at the Cozy Inn in Salina on July 18. Meeting at 11:00 might get us a little ahead of the lunch crowd. The Cozy Inn (www.kansastravel.org/cozyinn.htm) opened in ...

Roger - New Guy from Wichita

Well, I'm actually fairly old (as I assume are many others here...) but new to this forum. Dave, from Lenexa, told me about the ROMEOS group at an ST Owners RTE in El Dorado a while back. I was pleased to see that there are apparently some members in this area, and some activity in the Wichita and S...
