15--and more ROMEO ladies than we have had in some time. A little upgrade in restaurants does wonders. Next week shows rain chances, so we may have to take a "bye".

Must have been too cold for some--but 6 of us enjoyed Kathy's friendly service at Calabama's. Their special was excellent as always. On the way home I stopped in Salem at "Swingles" and determined that they are so busy and the place is small that it probably will not work for us. Lets see ...

Our last visit was in June--so lets go back (I know they miss us). Breakfast served until 10:30. Calabamas in Franklin Ar. set for 10am on Wednesday. Paving work being done on 62E.

I think we had 7 or so for a very nice sort of "lunch" which was deli sandwiches, chips drink and ice cream served by "Beth" whose family is part owner of Dawt's. Afterwards Mike Don and I rode to West Plains Mega motors where I test rode the new 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator--not bad...

Last chance to go there before they shut down for the season. It won't be a typical breakfast menu, but deli sandwiches etc and some great riding on the back roads. They open at 9--I did call and told Beth probably 10-15 if it doesn't rain.

Roger and I thought it would be a great idea to have a "joint breakfast" Tuesday at the Ozark Cafe. Some of the rendezvous attendees hopefully will skip the "free" breakfast at the motel and venture South to join us. Some of these mornings have been foggy--so if that is the case ...

Great riding day and we had 3 lovely ladies attend which is great (keeps us inline). More 'spyders" as we all age (gracefully). A few photos from Jacks and the "Calico Rock museum" where Evelyn and I stopped by on the way home. We didn't see even half of it so we shall return at a lat...

Our first Fall lunch meet drew 13 of including Junior and Shirley, always a pleasant surprise. Entrees were reasonably priced, very good and served quickly--we will return.Pix:

Wednesday is supposed to be a nice cool day so we can start some Lunch runs. The last (and only) time we went to Bunkers the service and food were great and the view of the golf course is fantastic. 11am, when they open on Wednesday.
