WINTER IN MISSOURI

This one is for Jerry! The Blizzard of 2011 It's winter in Missouri And the Northern winds do blow, 50 miles per hour And it’s 12 degrees below! Oh, how I love Missouri When the snow's up to your butt; You take a breath of winter air And your nose, it freezes shut. Yes, the weather here is terrible...

Re: Romeo Tues 2/1 NO RIDE Wolf-es

Hope the weatherman is wrong, cause if he's right, we all may be digging out! Took Mary over to Wolf-es yesterday morning for breakfast so she could check it off her list of places we've been. She really enjoyed the omelet and I had the small (big) B&G. Mmmm, good stuff...may not make i...

Geography

Geography Lessons for Retirees:  You can retire to Phoenix , Arizona where 1. You are willing to park 3 blocks away because you found shade. 2. You've experienced condensation on your butt from the hot water in the toilet bowl. 3. You can drive for 4 hours in one direction and never leave town....

Re: Romeo's Friday

Don't feel too sorry for us. It's supposed to be 50+ tomorrow on our ride to Orrick & Flubbers Cove to enjoy the great Walleye! ============ Must have been the short notice as only 6 enjoyed the Friday trip to Orrick and the great walleye. It was 52 by the time we got home, just in time to wash...

That's terrible to find out they were burglarized. I know how hard it must be to keep a small business like this afloat, especially in these hard economic times. If we had known beforehand, perhaps we could have asked everyone for a voluntary donation? Maybe it's not too late? :?: Gary

Re: LUNCH TUES 10/26 PAOLA, KS

Another great ROMEO ride experience. It just seems to get better every week. A special "Thank You" to Leland and Slina for the wonderful dessert and interesting tour of their pecan farm. The pecans were a hit when I got home and I won't ever eat one without thinking of how much work goes ...

I know few of you live in the area, but from Parkville to Edgerton, it was virtually rain free. In Edgerton the streets were dry. Four attended today's lunch.

Re: Tues 8/3 Lunch/Breakfast

Breakfast was a great idea as it was only 98 degrees as I came back through KCMO. Good food and great company as usual! Keep up the good work!

Thanks,
Gary

Re: TUES 6/15 Lunch, Excelsior Springs, MO

Kudos to the location! What a great place to meet and eat. Food and service were outstanding. I plan to bring another group back to enjoy what we found today. I should point out that the link on the Goggle map is not for this establishment, instead some place in Nebraska.

Thanks,
Gary
