Mechanic Needed
Turns out Fred and Maxine's '87 Goldwing does need a new Stater installed. Area dealers are not excited about tackling it until winter and then at some pretty high rates. If we can find someone qualified we will bring the bike to them. Don't expect a handout...just want the job done right, at a fair...

Re: It's gonna be La Cygne next week!!!!!
Fred and Maxine and I decided to head south from LaCygne when the sprinkles started. Thought we'd get ahead of the rain. We wanted to stay together so we could do a couple of things when we got back so I followed them down 69. After a few minutes I noticed Duffy behind us. But then all heck broke lo...

And me still without anything but 4 wheels! Marilyn and I will be going to the same place...just later than everyone else. Thanks for the tour guide and letting us know what to expect. The trike should be back on the road before the end of June. Sure hope so! I'm hoping to work with Grandpa Jack to ...

Re: SEK Hit & Miss Next three scheduled rides
Hey folks:
ROMEO Cliff stopped in to share that he had made a trip to Hume and found highway V about 1 mile North of Stotesbury is closed. Not a problem except for those coming from the SE. They might want to go throught Metz to get to Hume.
Be safe and we'll see you at Hume.

Re: SEK Hit & Miss Next three scheduled rides
Gpa Jack: Good Choices! Sorry I'll not be around on the 8th, though. Its a new place for me. We need to get the word around about the Stark ride. I know ROMEO'S from almost all areas have been there and enjoyed the place. It would be good to have a large turnout and send them off with a bang. See yo...

Re: April 27th, Golden City Mo Cooky's
Jack: Golden city was a good place! Especially the pies. I know I suggested White Grill in Nevada for next week but turns out I'll not be able to make that one. You all will enjoy it, though. I remembered just after leaving Golden City that I have some meetings in Hesston KS that Friday and Saturday...

Granpa Jack:
The one in Deerfield is Emrey's Cafe located West of Nevads on 54 Hwy. Everyone says thier food is good but breakfast is best. Maybe we could save it for an early morning breakfast ride as things warm up.

Welcome back Jack. I'll be out of town on a speaking engagement on the 30th so will not be at Kincaid this week. I am cutting back to two days a week at the agency so should be more active in weeks to come. Look forward to seeing all again soon.

Thanks for the excellent report on the Stark ride today. I appreciate ( and I'm sure others do, too) having the report and photos. Let's me feel a part even when I can't be there!

Corwin: Just had lunch yesterday at the Longhorn Family Restaurant at LaCygne, KS. It is located just East of the Junction of Hwy 69 and Hwy 152. They have good food and BBQ is a specialty. They have a meeting room in back if we need it. The RR's may have been there before, but if its been a while i...

Re: SEK Romeo Riders; Fri. June 10th Yates Center, Ks
Thanks to all for making me welcome on my first ROMEO outing at Yates Center. Thanks also to John for leading me through back-country on the way to Chanute to check out the Honda service center there. It appears they will be very accommodating when the time comes...and what a showroom! Totaled 150 m...
