New/old ride

Not new here, but picked up a '73 BMW R75/5, LWB, toaster tank, with white windjammer fairing and hard bags, 48000 miles, today. Got 1/2 home and had a rear flat, the Black, 07 KLR has all the tire fixing stuff in it. Got lucky, a guy with a small trailer happened by within a few minutes, and hauled...

I got there about 12:50pm. I had met 3 riders on the highway going south. I made 19. Had a good lunch by myself. Took some backroads southwest till road/weather conditions made me use the highway home. Very green ride, great scenery up that way.

Hey Eric, How are you? I started riding with the Wed. lunch rides about 4-5 years ago? I am not retired yet either, but my job lets summer Wed. and winter vacation Wed. available for lunches. I take the backroads to lunches, which at some distances is a long, good, days ride. Maybe see you sometime ...
