Re: South Central Lunch - March 27, 11;00 AM

Boss Hog's in Winfield was spot on with opening, service and awesome food. We enjoy this location, I enjoy it often as I am near. We had 17 arrive today. Seven rolled in on motorcycles, all others caged it. The bike total mileage was 321 to Boss Hog. Moundridge Ron topped the riders with 81 miles - ...

Re: Bob Hoch

Sorry to learn of this Bob. Last we talked in person was December 6 at Dusti's Place.
Fight a good fight, review the many Nikon exposed photos you have made and bless each day.

Re: South Central Lunch - March 20, 11:00. AM

The Mexican was closed, so we made our way to Conway Springs to the Stock Tank. Fantastic meals abound. I had the chicken strips, 4 tasty battered white tenders. In all, we were pleased with the food and service. We had 16 arrive today. One in a car, Kathryn 4 wheeled it. And 15 bikes rumbled in. Th...

Re: South Central Lunch - March 13, 11;00 AM

The Route 77 Café at Rock was as good as always. Super food that was well worth the wait. I enjoyed my usual, burger and a few tater tots-1/3rd of an order of tots is all I eat. Everyone enjoyed their food (excluding Luke, he disliked his chicken wings). We had 20 riders arrive on 20 bikes. Bike mil...

Re: South Central Lunch - March 6, 11:00 AM

LaHacienda usually delivers wonderful food. Luke's steak meal was not eaten as it was unpleasant and my taco's were soaking wet with dripping grease. I'm sure many had great meals, we did not, however. Plus, the lady took my cash and returned only currency, not my change! Geeez, the nerve. We had 16...

56 Family Cafe was ready and tables set for our arrival. Good food as always, service was acceptable - all good. Moundridge Ron was wimpy rider, long distance rider and only rider rolling 12 one way miles on his Harley-Davidson. One related photo below, plus a few Maxwell snaps <--- went there after...

This Pizza Ranch is FANTASTIC! I say this, as I was told of another Pizza Ranch location that is a bit sub-par. It's not this location, as mentioned it was fantastic - huge variety of pizza, plus a full lunch buffet! AND don't leave until you enjoy the bountiful dessert items!! And a big bonus, pric...

Boudreux's Burgers in Peck, Kansas was ready for us and about 30 others from another car club group. The ladies took great care of us, food arrived in good time and as always taste was spot on fantastic. We had 21 ROMEO show up today (2 did not sign as their male hubbies signed). One Romeo in a GMC ...

Re: South Central Lunch - February 7, 11:00 AM

The American Legion Post 10 opened a tad early to please the ROMEO gang. We flooded the north dining area, and had the place to ourselves. Great food, good service and reasonable price for the retired gang. We appreciate Shirley and Junior Wege for the 'all you want to eat' cake! Fantastic, I say. W...

Re: South Central Lunch - January 31, 11:00 AM

The Stock Tank opened a few minutes early today. We were actually enjoying the fun on the street with the many bikes, a few we had not seen in a while. Once in, the lady server took good care of the gang of ROMEO and the food was very good. Today we had 22 attend. Three arrived in 4 wheels, 19 rolle...

Re: South Central Lunch - January 24, 11:00 AM

Cool and solid overcast weather stumped many from going ROMEO today. That said, we that did go enjoyed great Mex food at very acceptable pricing. We had no riders today, all 12 were in several 4 wheel machines. See photos below, and a few that Wayne and I took at the Oxford Mill after lunch. See you...

We had 13 arrive and dine today at the Bread Basket. Happy that Ron clued me in on how to order which included refills. No bikes, all arrived safe using the 4 wheel units. Wayne and I stopped to make photos of wildlife, only one shown here. Lets do it again next week, looking at a southward local lo...

Re: South Central Lunch - January 10, 11;00 AM

Food was good, service there is super. All good but with a bit of noise and tight setting. Ty's run a good, old fashioned diner style place. We had a total of 10 today. All arrived in cars and pickups. The cold and wet pavement kept all the bikes at home. Check out the photos below. A rare photo of ...

Stearman Field Restaurant fed all of us very well, server was spot on in all regards. Food is good there, and price is reasonable. We had 11 arrive today for lunch. One was a biker - Bob Welton rode his Spider 16 miles for lunch. Kathryn arrived in a sexy, small, 6 gears on the floor car. Most of us...

The Good: Cy's Hoof and Horn had one trim waitress waiting our tables. She was great, friendly and all was fine. Food was, as always, darn good. Myself and several others bought the Chicken Fried Steak special, and others were served their pleasure meals. We had 17 arrive in various cage machines. Z...

Villar's in Wichita, Great Mexican food! Understatement, actually the best of the best MEX grub. The rumor that they were closing was just that, a rumor. We had 14 ROMEO today. Four on bikes and others in cage machines. The four bikes rolled 69 total miles. Tim Rawlins rode strong to be the top mile...

The scouting out of Dusti's Place 7006 W. McArthur was a total awesome hit! Fantastic service, food and location, making for super comradery during a wonderful meal. I'm confident all enjoyed this place and the meals they served us. My hunch - this will be a go to close in place. We had 19 arrive fo...

Sugar Shane's was ready with a very long table set up for ROMEO. Sadly we only had eight (8) show up today. Food is, well, okay.. costly for what it was. three dollar coffee (one cup).. We had two Harley TriGlide riders show today, one was hauling a passenger. Mileage estimated was 55.55 miles We wi...
