Re: Post pics of your snow!

Arky, I do wish I had kept some of the old scoots. I am completely out of dirt bikes but still have 10 ready for the road bikes in the shop. Three are fairly modern and the other 7 stretch from a 1952 BSA Goldstar 350 single to a 1995 R100RT. The 1967 Matchless G15CSR is one of my favorites. For som...

Re: Post pics of your snow!

That's a good one Arky. The old mustangs were about 150cc with 5HP. But I wouldn't take that to the bank. They were building new ones with transmissions and everything.

The Topeka Harley shop has a restoration shop in it, I think Yesterday Cycles is the name of it. Dave Larson does most of the work and he is good. Phone there is 785-234-6174.

Re: Update - New changes in the forums

Tom, That's pretty much how I remember it. As I recall Richard didn't like the name Romeos when it was presented but he decided to go along when everyone else liked it. We had a lot of fun for a lot of years going to all the little places in Kansas. It is a shame how so many of them have died out. ...

Re: First DFW Area Ride

Boomer For most of us that started groups we had to email or word of mouth for a few rides to get some other riders aware of what you are doing. It starts slow and seems to build slow. Then as the word gets out you will have plenty of riders. Time, patients and lots of pie are all that's needed. Don

John,
I am planning on about 1000 at Madison on the 19th. Madison makes for a nice Central point for everyone to meet.

Re: August Romeo Lunch

Good looking lineup of both people and bikes. I well say Jeff's Norton brings about a certain amount of envy. But then I also remember when I sold my 1967 Norton my right leg was an inch and a half larger than the left. Maybe a result of cool mornings and 50wt oil. The places you go are so fascinat...

Re: Wednesday North Central ROMEO Lunch Ride for 8-5-15

Richard,
I remember when I set up the ride in Chapman. It was in 2008, can't remember the date, but we had 90 riders. It was one of those days when people kept coming and going so it was hard to count. As I recall most of your group was getting there well after our group had eaten.

First is Harry's 2007 KLR for the low price of $2500. That includes the yellow bags but not the top case seen in the picture

Second is the Silverwing for a mere $3500. Both bikes in excellent shape and ready to ride.

Contact Harry at 785-221-1258 or grab him at the next Romeo ride.
