Linda and I had a great time visiting with everyone, I am glad we got some of the distractions out of the way so we could come! Great job, Bohn and Bernie, returning the cash to the guy who dropped it, that just illustrates what we all know about the great character of the ROMEO'S.

Welcome Kinzie, this is a fun bunch of people to get together for lunch with, they know all the great restaurants, especially if they serve pie. :D

Re: TUES 3/11 LANE CAFE, LANE, KS

We could not have asked for a nicer day for a ride, I heard a bike count of 72, they kept rolling in! http://i61.tinypic.com/2wnmm4w.jpg First thing as I hit town I had to check out the historic house. http://i62.tinypic.com/28lgy0h.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/256fhtu.jpg A nice old John Deere wanted...

Well....pass the word to Gary, a big welcome to the forum. The wife and I really like riding 18 between Drexel and Clinton as well as other fine roads out that day. We will be glad to help him get some break-in miles on that thing.

Welcome to the forum, Freep. I'll be happy to drink a "barley pop" with you sometime and hear the story about that handle.

Welcome, Kenneth. Harleys on this end, but anything that gets up on two wheels is great with me. I look forward to riding with you.

Welcome, Ron. Looking forward to meeting you. Not picking much bluegrass on this end, some of the rock and roll tunes I grew up listening to.

Re: British Bike Meet June 1

I am going to try to make this one, I no longer have a Brit bike. Riding American bikes as well I couldn't ever keep my feet educated as to which one was to shift and which one had braking duties. (This was before the government standardized things) I still miss the old girl at times though!

Re: KC Area Romeo Ride Tues 5/28

We woke up with gray overcast, it looked like it could rain at any moment. Resting upon the weatherman's assurance that the rain would hold off until 3 pm., off we rode. We are very happy that we took our chances with the weather. Mel Smith's sister in law welcomed the group to town as we arrived. M...

Re: CHRISTMAS LUNCH 12/18 MARTIN CITY

I had been working too much, and had missed a few of the recent rides. I decided to rectify that situation today. http://i45.tinypic.com/j753py.jpg Dressed accordingly, it was a nice ride to Martin City this morning. http://i45.tinypic.com/2wgwr29.jpg First things first, the little wife made sure s...

http://i45.tinypic.com/2d85gyr.jpg There was a nice turn out of Romeos at Wellsville today, despite cloudy skies and talk of impending rain. We found the usual good food and courteous service that keeps us coming back. http://i47.tinypic.com/1zczcqp.jpg I enjoy the charming old buildings and brick ...

Re: Tuesday 10/2 Sisters and Friends, Hume, MO

A great day for a ride. The warm riding jacket was very welcome in the cool of the morning, but was shed in the afternoon. http://i46.tinypic.com/3476xsi.jpg The large grain bin behind Sisters and friends has been cleverly converted to a very nice dining area. http://i45.tinypic.com/2qi3gj7.jpg I lo...
