If someone has a heated clothing controller, that they no longer use, I would like to buy it. A double would be great but a single is all I need for now. Please let me know. Don't want to spend the money on a new one.

Don,
Wow what a great turnout at the Eagle's Nest yesterday! I think there was about 20 people, maybe more. Might be time to think about a bigger room or table. It was great to see everyone there.

Shannon,
Welcome to the group! I hope you can make some rides, because this group can really pile up the miles. We will soon be going to Podunk and East Bejesus as soon as we find them. It is a great resource for information about roads and general biking info.

Remember when in the fifties and sixties when the automobile manufacturers would try to hide where the gas fillers were on a car?

Talimena Trail ride
Last week I rode down to ride the Talimena Trail between Arkansas and Oklahoma. Beautiful views, and great roads with lots of twisties and sweepers. The 800+ mile trip took me two days. If you haven't tried it you should check it out. All the natives said the best time to go is when the autum colors...

Too old to know when to come in out of the rain!
Last Sunday we were riding and rode through a couple of spots of light rain on the way to my buddies house. While sitting around outside we noticed huge black clouds moving into an area northwest of us about 20 miles away. They asked me to stay until it passed. Probably should have. I figured that s...

Re: Ride Report: Sturgis Rally mini-blog 2009
Bob, Sounds like a great time and I'll try and make it in 2010. Last Sunday my wife and I rode down to Cassoday, KS where the crowd was estimated at 5,000 bikers. Lots of people there and one rider went down permanently, sorry to say. It was the second time I went there this year and was the second ...

Re: RTE, Friday, July 17, meet in Louisburg, ride to FT Scott
Hello! This Danny from the wandering ROMEO's, meaning we got lost ROMEO's. We turned on Hwy 152 thinking it might go where Hwy 52 goes, Well, it doesn't. We wandered a little but not too bad. Total of 234 miles instead of 200. Great day for riding and good people were in tow. Weston may be our next ...

Re: RTE, Friday, July 17, meet in Louisburg, ride to FT Scott
Romeos Unite! We will be meeting at McDonalds near Hwy 68 and Hwy 69 in Louisburg that Friday July 17th at 10:30AM as Bob stated. From Lawrence to Ft. Scott is 100 miles and from Louisburg to Ft. Scott is 67 miles according to Google. Is there ever a good reason not to ride? Of course some of you ma...
