Re: Patriot Gaurd Riders,

The Patiot Guard participation was very much appreciated at the graveside service for Chet. Ten riders with ten flags.
The Air Force Honer Guard was there also.
It was a nice service for a great person.
Thank you Guard Riders.

Re: Wednesday North Central ROMEO Lunch Ride for 8-19-15

You are correct. I drove the road last night and the only loose gravel is in the first two miles south of Chase, and there is not much of that. The county has removed their machinery from the area, so I don’t think they will be doing any more sanding for now. The road west from Alden to Chase is get...

Re: Wednesday North Central ROMEO Lunch Ride for 8-19-15

On Wednesday, Rice County did an oil and sand seal on 8th road north of Chase. This means lots of loose gravel. There is a “loose gravel” sigh on 8th road south of Chase going to Alden. The loose gravel may extend thru Alden. I will try to find out how much of the road thru Alden has loose gravel an...

Road construction warning. There is road construction on US 56 at the west edge of Lyons. The road surface is extremely poor and has many holes. K 14 north and south thru Lyons is in good shape. The Dairy Queen is only two blocks west of K 14 and is a good place to get coffee if you want to take a l...

Re: Wednesday North Central ROMEO Lunch Ride for 9-26-12

Good thing I noticed the area code, or I may have ridden to St. Joe, KS. St. Joe, KS is two miles east of Cheney Reservoir. Then I figured out you meant St. Joseph, KS. Hope no one is planning to ride to St. Joe. But that would not really have been a problem for me, bet ya I would find somewhere to ...

40 miles to Arlington, 240 miles to get back home.
By the time I got to Alva OK, the wind was blowing 25 to 40.
I couldn’t pass up a chance to ride a little extra with the temperature at 72 degrees in November.
